MOVING YOUR PROPANE TANK

How to Safely Move a Propane Tank

When moving a propane tank, always keep it upright to prevent leaks. Use a hand truck, cart, or a secure grip — never roll or drag the tank. Make sure the valve is tightly closed and the protective cap is in place. Transport the tank in a well-ventilated vehicle compartment (like a truck bed), never inside a closed car or trunk. Secure the tank so it won’t tip, slide, or fall. And remember: keep propane tanks away from heat sources, sparks, or smoking materials while moving them.

If you'd rather the experts handle that job, just give us a call.   We can move ICP tanks to a new location that will accommodate your needs.
